The Internet has made movies much more accessible, as, I’m sure, you already know. Whether you want to know useless facts, what actor played in what movie, or if you want to actually watch a movie, it’s usually just a click away.

Over the years, I’ve loved accumulating knowledge about movies from the Internet. For the past decade I’ve felt ahead when it came to movie news and have also felt enlightened by the many movie reviews and criticisms I’ve read. Not because of any intellectual feat of my own, but because of all the free, quality information you can find online.

All the sites are organized into categories for your convenience.

Authority Sites

I call them authority sites, but they could just be called, big freakin’ sites about movies. These types of sites have it all. Movie news, movie reviews, movie forums. They’re basically all the other categories all rolled in to one. They can get somewhat overwhelming (which is the reason for this list), so don’t get too frustrated looking through them.
